I started my career as a trainee mortgage broker where I was assisting qualified mortgage brokers packaging their cases to lenders and follow each case until they completed, whilst I was working on getting my CeMAP certificate. Once I got my qualification, I attended client meetings and assisted the broker with finding the most suitable lender. After a year and a half, I moved to Habito, the first (or second? – big debate with Trussle) online mortgage brokerage firm, where I was submitting my own cases for the first time. It was a great experience as we dealt with hundreds of customers a month, which meant the learning curve was very steep. I stayed there for nearly five years when I decided to join a traditional brokerage firm in Mayfair. This is when I started liaising in person with HNW and UHNW clients and found a great satisfaction in finding debt solutions for more complex cases. My last role also allowed me to liaise with overseas lenders as I was dealing with international clients looking for debt solutions outside of the UK. Having joined Hectocorn recently, I am very thrilled for my future endeavours as we share the same vision in providing debt solutions for a vast number of international clients.
